Fur has a luminous quality – that imperfect perfection – that synthetic materials just can’t imitate.

Animal activist groups generally argue that we shouldn’t use fur products under any circumstances.
My take is that when fur is the unavoidable by-product of vermin eradication, why not recycle and enjoy it in your home?

I love all the textures that furs can offer…but my dog and cat are texture enough! I might pick up a few imitation pieces if I find the right ones though. The real fur I have encountered can have a weird smell.
Good point – pets are a great way to get fur in the home without the ethical dimension! Better to play with too!
