This life-size dollhouse stood on the ocean front in Santa Monica, California and was home to the inventor of Barbie and co-founder of Mattel, Ruth Handler. Ruth passed away in 2002 and I’m not sure what has become of the colourful digs but I hope it remains standing and beaming in its pink and purple glory as a reminder to indulge in fantasy every so often, no matter how old we are.
