Splashes of metallic are busting out this Spring/Summer season 2012, and the new tone on the block is copper. On the catwalks, embossed gold tulip skirts, on the street – sporty luxe foil shorts, and on the ridiculously stylish Christine Centenera - metallic-thread embroided jackets. What about inside the four walls? Functional appliances such as taps and lamp shades in minimalistic copper or the more decorative plates and chest-of-drawers in hues of gold and silver are ways to introduce glimmers of metallic.
