Bedtime can’t come soon enough with Castle and Things’ bed-linen. Bright colours, fun patterns and fluro pops put the funk back in the land of nod.

Founded in 2008 by Aussie, Rachel Castle, the brand continues to create accessible art and beautiful bed-linen.

I love a good pom pom!

They light up a room.

Hang a collection of tissue pom poms above the cot or bed as a mobile for the little ones to marvel at whilst falling asleep, or use as simple and colouful artwork around the room.

You can use as wedding or party decorations, suspended above tables or tied onto chairs down the aisle.

Or how about using  them to add the finishing touch to a gift rather than a bow?

Try patterned paper, such as spotted or striped for a different effect.

Or why not use a lace-patterned paper punch to create cut-out patterns?

Tissue paper pom poms are an affordable, easy and effective way to add festivity, femininity and fun to a space.

So this weekend, head along to your local craft shop, stock up on tissue paper and make yourself a pom or two.

Here’s some inspiration and a how-to guide.

Happy Friday!
