The Grand Designs Capsule Collection for National Tiles

Tiles aren’t something I always get excited about, particularly the same old white subway tiles we’ve seen for years now.

But today is an exception because National Tiles has just launched a collaboration with Grand Designs and the result is the most GORGEOUS tiles I’ve come across in a long time. And they are refreshingly different designs. Just wait til you see!!

In a first for the tile industry, National Tiles has collaborated with one of the most trusted home design brands Grand Designs to release a specially curated tile collection – The Grand Designs Capsule Collection for National Tiles.

This unique collaboration brings together the best in quality and design as well as practicality and affordability. And I am obsessed!!

With a focus on tiles for floors, walls and splashbacks for indoor and outdoor use, The Grand Designs Capsule Collection also includes National Tiles’ newly released timber flooring range, with ethically sourced and environmentally sustainable timber. Pretty exciting right?!

Each tile and timber flooring design has been selected for its relevance to the Australian marketplace, in keeping with the design excellence and cutting-edge creativity the Grand Designs brand is renowned for, as National Tiles’ Darren Taylor explains:

National Tiles are at the cutting edge of innovation and understand how Australians live, making them the perfect partners for a specially curated collection.

The range covers a whole host of aesthetics – from classic and Hampton-style designs to contemporary coastal, modern farmhouse and mid-century interiors (the latter being one of my absolute favourites).

Liz Burnett, head of Brand Partnerships at Fremantle (who bring us Grand Designs) says they are excited about their first venture into building products:

Interior designers and home-owners are increasingly looking for interesting aesthetics… This collaboration with National Tiles utilises colour, texture and beautiful pattern design to capture the essence of Grand Designs.

My pick are the glossy Paloma tiles – a subway tile shape in 8 gorgeous colourways and with a shimmering gloss finish and tonal variations adding extra interest, and the herringbone mosaic series – made up of authentic basalt stone as well as opulent pink, green and Carrara marbles, with rich tonal variations.

And guess what my interiors lovers? The range is online NOW! Explore below – with my fav tiles picked out!
