Did you just feel that?!
The weather starting to feel more mild… the days becoming longer… the little hints of greenery starting to emerge?
With Spring in the air, it’s time to refresh our bedrooms, for a proper Spring clean! Let me share my favourite ways to style your bedroom for Spring!
Spring is a perfect time to refresh the bedlinen, and think about bringing some lighter, brighter colours into your bedroom. It’s the season of florals, which means I love to bring these into my bedroom linen, through the quilt covers, cushions and throws. So let me share a few of my favourites looks…
Pop of Pink!
A floral print with a combination of pinks and greens on a white backdrop – fresh and oh-so Spring-like! This pretty pink doona cover would look great pared back with a simple single colour throw and a couple of cushions that pick up a couple of the tones in the quilt cover.
It’s no secret that soft blue is my favourite colour, so this quilt cover really speaks to me! With a large scale floral print, and gorgeous white cord piping, this look would be perfect paired with crisp white sheets, and a throw and cushions that pick up the green would look lovely.
Tropical prints are certainly “having a moment”, but really, they are always been in style if we looked far enough. This is such a fun look and this floral quilt cover would look great paired with really bright, punchy colours in the sheets, throw and cushions. BUT if you’d like to stick to a single colour for your quilt cover and instead simply bring in some Spring-inspired throws and cushions, a waffle quilt cover is a great option too!! I do love a simple white waffle quilt cover to mix and match with my decorative cushions and throws through the seasons!
