Come inside The Byron at Byron Resort & Spa with me.

I don’t know whether it’s this cold Melbourne weather or the fact that my last holiday feels too long ago, but I’m craving a little trip up North, and I’ve found the dream accommodation!

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa looks absolutely stunning. Nestled in 45 acre subtropical rainforest while still being close to the beach, this resort not only has an enviable location, but also a host of luxurious facilities on site.

The raised infinity pool spills over views of the rainforest, while in the restaurant, Executive Chef Matthew Kemp celebrates the local produce, climate and seasons of Byron in his creations, which share influences from Asian, modern Australian and European cuisines. Yum!

Then of course there’s the spa, where you can combine rainforest walks with your treatments and rejuvenate in the steam room and sauna – and why not follow this up with the daily complimentary yoga?

I also love that the hotel is as green as its surroundings, with the buildings designed to make the most of the fresh air flow rather than air conditioning, plus the use of recycled grey water and eco friendly lighting.
