This weekend marks the return of Sydney’s Reed Gift Fairs, with a holistic experience awaiting retail buyers.
This annual buying event is my idea of HEAVEN. Hundreds of wholesalers, thousands of products, hands-on workshops, networking and a whole lot of inspiration. It is of course Reed Gift Fairs, and it’s coming to ICC Sydney Darling Harbour this weekend, February 24th to 28th!
Hailed as ‘the biggest buying experience’ of the year, the Sydney Reed Gift Fairs spans two levels of homewares, gifts, jewellery and fashion.
Stallholders do an incredible job with their presentation; each stall really working to stop you in your tracks and entice you to take a closer look, feel and chat. You’d be wise to set aside a full day to work through all the stalls.
Then there’s the wine bars, pamper massage zones, charging stations and multiple food and beverage outlets.
And that’s before you even soak up the learnings on offer through ‘Retail Therapy’. This innovative education series covers social media skills, digital content creation, brand storytelling, smartphone photography and more. Basically, it’s an invaluable opportunity for retailers to fine-tune industry-specific marketing skills, while networking with colleagues.
Something else to make the most of is the ‘Business Matching Programme‘, which uses an algorithm to match the product interests you select during registration with personalised recommendations of must-see exhibitors at the show.
